Hurricane IKE

Just wanted to give everyone quick update on the storm and what we're going to do.

Well it now looks like IKE will hit Galveston head on which is better for us because it puts us on the "good" side of the storm. Less likely that we will extremely high winds or tornadoes, so that's good!

All of our friends are staying in town and several couples are all getting together to hang out and weather the storm together tomorrow night, so we may join them. Both the church office and Mustang are closed tomorrow, so we are excited about that. We've cleaned up our yard, anchored our patio cover, bought plywood in case of window breakage and have three cases of water. I think we'll be just fine!

If we wind up without electricity for days, you may be seeing us in Ft. Worth!
