Good News, Christmas and more!

So, for those of you who haven't heard, we found out last Friday night that Terry passed the Professional Engineer exam!!!!!!!! We were SOOOOO excited! We had checked about 4:30 on Friday afternoon and the scores weren't posted yet, so we figured we wouldn't know until Monday or Tuesday.  Well Terry couldn't wait, so as we were watching a movie, he grabbed the laptop to check one more time. This time the screen was different and we knew it meant the scores were posted. Probably one of the most nerve wracking moments! Luckily the page loaded quickly and we saw under the Pass/Fail column, "Pass"!!!!!!!!!! Terry didn't believe it at first, then he kept saying, "I passed, I passed." 51% of people that take this test fail the first time. That means Terry was in the 49% that passed. Pretty amazing! It was a wonderful Christmas gift! Terry is very happy that he doesn't have to study again this spring. Plus the guys he works for at Mustang were all really happy he passed, so that;s always good for job security!

We just spent a few days in Ft Worth and Springtown for Christmas. It was fun seeing all the family. We spent Christmas morning at my parents. It was fun because for the first time since Whitney got married, we all spent Christmas morning together. It was really fun to get our "Santa" gifts, then exchange gifts with each other. After breakfast Terry and I headed out to Springtown for a couple of days with his family. 

We just got back tonight and we're so glad to be home. We love going to our parents, but now we have our own home and it's nice to be at our own place and in our own bed! Tomorrow we start painting our living room and entry way. Wish us luck! We're hoping to have it done by Wednesday. Thursday we leave for Ft Worth again. We're going to the Cotton Bowl on Friday and will stay at my parents. Can't wait to hang out w/ John and Steph and watch Tech beat Ole' Miss!! WRECK 'EM TECH!!!!
